The wound care article has a layer made of superabsorbent polymers, and a layer of a soft foam material. A wound exudates absorbing body (1) is provided with superabsorbent polymers. A cover (5) is partly surrounded the absorbing body. A section of the cover is made of a soft foam material. A foil covering wall (5.1) is provided, which is made of polyesters, polyolefins, polyurethane, polyvinyl alcohols, silicone or mixtures of all or copolymers.
