Fireproof/soundproof door comprises a core consisting of a 5-20 mm thick composite layer plate (V) made from a fireproof layer having an intumescent composition based on an alkali metal silicate, calcium silicate or calcium sulfate with protective layers and a substrate layer made from inorganic or organic building materials, paper, metal, plastic or a further fireproof layer on both sides. A 5-50 mm thick soundproof insert (S) is arranged on one or both sides of the composite layer plate followed by a 1-50 mm thick covering layer (D) made from an inorganic or organic building material, paper, metal, plastic or textile. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a fireproof/soundproof door.
