The LED ring (1), to be fitted into a lamp with a holder and a reflector, has a housing (2) to accommodate a number of LEDs on a circular circuit board. The ring has an installation flange (25), extending radially inwards, to be clamped between the reflector flange and the lamp holder ring. The housing body is fitted with a cover (3) and has light openings for each LED, with at least some in the side wall.
