The method involves conveying granule and/or small plastic particles into a reactor (4) by conveyors (2, 3). The granule is fused at surface of the reactor, and downstream compression is performed during pressing procedure. The granule and/or particles are guided between an air-permeable heat-resistant conveyor pair without interruption through the reactor, a compression station (8) and a cooling station (7), before cooled product stabilized by cooling is separated from the conveyors and before the product enters into a cutting station. An independent claim is also included for a system for producing a plastic plate.
