The connector (1) has a set of plug contacts inserted into a plug front (4) of a plug connector housing (2). A detaching unit (10) with a finger (11) is supported on the housing such that the unit is movable in a plugging direction. The finger is aligned on locking units and a locking pin (6) such that the finger is guided below the pin during the insertion of the detaching unit toward the pin. The pin is moved perpendicular to the finger from the locking units by a flexible section of the pin.
