The method involves scanning an examining object i.e. patient (7), using a medical image recording system. Scanning data set is produced during scanning at a scanning time period. A time overlap data set is produced under application of the determined scanning data set, where a time overlap diffusion filter e.g. anisotropic diffusion filter, is utilized for filtering the time overlap data set. A partial data set with spatial co-ordinate is produced from the filtered time overlap data set, and the partial data set is output.
