The device (9) has a coupling element (11) rotatably supported at a holder (10) about a rotational axis (12). An adjustment drive (17) is connected with the coupling element and inserted between the coupling element and an actuating linkage (13). The holder and coupling element are connected with each other under interconnection of an over-center linkage (20), which is transferred into an extended position by a rotary motion of the coupling element. The over-center linkage is pre-stressed by a spring (28) in an over-center position, and secured by a stop (42) in the extended position.
