Hal : Br or I; A 1-CONR 1-(CH 2) n-NR 2-(CO-CHZ 1-NH) m-CO-CHZ 2-K 1or -CONR 1-(CH 2) p-(CONR 2CH 2) m-CHOHCH 2-K 1; A 2A 1or -NR 1-CO-(NR 1) m-(CH 2) p-NR 2-(CO-CHZ 1-NH) m-CO-CHZ 2-K 1; A 3NR 1-CO-R 3or CON(R 1) 2; V 1direct bond, O, S, SO 2, optionally saturated 1-15C hydrocarbon chain (optionally interrupted by 1-4 O, 1-3 -NHCO-, 1-3 -CONH-, 1-2 -SO 2-, 1-2 S or 1-2 OH groups, and substituted by 1-10 OH or 1-5 1-4C alkoxy), -CONR 1-R 3-NR 1CO-, -NR 1CO-(CH 2) m-(CO) mNR 1- or -NCOR 2-R 3-COR 2N; R 1, R 2H, 1-2C alkyl or monohydroxy-1-2C alkyl; R 3optionally saturated 1-15C hydrocarbon chain (optionally interrupted by 1-4 O, 1-3 -NHCO-, 1-3 -CONH-, 1-2 -SO 2-, 1-2 S or 1-2 OH groups, and substituted by 1-10 OH or 1-5 1-4C alkoxy); Z 1, Z 2H or CH 3; n : 0 or 2-4; m : 0 or 1; p : 1-4; K 1macrocyclic group of formula (II); and X : H or metal ion equivalent of the atomic number 20-29, 39, 42, 44 or 57-83, with proviso that at least two X is metal ion equivalent, and optionally the free carboxyl group in (II) can exist as salts of organic and/or inorganic bases, amino acids or amino acid amides.
