The method involves controlling injecting parameters e.g. distribution factor and injecting point, of a fuel supply system (10) in an operating mode of an internal-combustion engine in which repeated fuel injections into a combustion chamber (26) are performed. The injecting parameters are preset during a switching process from a simple fuel injection to the repeated fuel injection or vice-versa such that an effective efficiency of approximately 1 is achieved in the operating modes with simple and repeated fuel injections. An independent claim is also included for a computer program for execution of a method for controlling a fuel supply system of an internal-combustion engine.
