Injector's piezoelectric element charging method, involves polarizing piezoelectric element by applying signal before fuel injection action, and accomplishing initial polarization when number of revolutions of engine exceeds preset value
The method involves polarizing a piezoelectric element by applying a polarization voltage signal before a fuel injection action. Initial polarization is accomplished when the number of revolutions of an internal-combustion engine (115) exceeds a predetermined value. Entry characterizing the polarization is taken up into a memory (118) i.e. electrically EPROM (EEPROM). The internal-combustion engine is shut down based on a completed starting process when a parameter characterizing the operating status of the internal-combustion engine has reached a predetermined value. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for charging of a piezoelectric element of an injector for injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine (2) computer program comprising a set of instructions for performing a method for charging of a piezoelectric element of an injector for injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine.
