The device is directly arranged on a loudspeaker (2), and digitally and wirelessly determines measuring results. The device is arranged at a digital interface between a loudspeaker unit and a transmission line (3), and a condition of the loudspeaker is cyclically and permanently determined by a control center (5). A proprietary standardized protocol e.g. Zigbeeand Bluetooth, is used for wireless transmission. A signal with frequency components is applied outside the human hearing to the center. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring and transferring measuring results from a loudspeaker to a control centre for analyzing and determining functional standby of the loudspeaker.
