The gearbox has a pedal arm (18) that rotates a pedal axle (1) designed as hollow wheel. The wheel is firmly connected with a lateral inner socket (5), which is formed by multiple rods and supported on the pedal axle. Torque is transmitted over a coupling system and a triple switching ring at an output shaft. A planet cage is connected with the inner socket at a side of an outer edge. The pedal axle is rotated in a sun wheel, which is connected with a fixed hub housing (11) over a lateral cover or a flange, where the gearbox allows reverse rotations.
