The vehicle (1) has a roof (2) with a middle structural unit (7) comprising a back window (6) with respect to a vehicle lateral direction. A part of an outer roof line (10) is formed in a lateral section in a closed condition by the structural unit. The structural unit is moved into an opened condition using a separate movement against a roof region (9), where the opened condition lies below a pre-regulated roof section (11). The structural unit avoids outwardly overlapping the roof line in the closed condition and the opened condition and during overall movement between the conditions.
