The roof (5) has a front roof element (7) with a movable unit (17) that facilitates entry and exit movement for passengers into and/or from a passenger compartment (6). Flaps (18, 19) are arranged on both sides of a longitudinal centre plane of the passenger car (1) and are attached at a middle support (20) of the front roof element. The middle support of the front roof element is extended between a windshield frame (10) and a rear roof element (8). The flaps are arranged by interposition of hinges at the middle support.
