The vehicle (1) has a steering axle with two skid plates (2) that are spaced with each other in vehicle transverse direction and slide in driving operation on underground. A drive axle exhibits chain drives (3) for transferring driving force of a drive unit to the underground in driving operation. Two chain drives arranged on opposite vehicle sides are provided in area of the drive axle. Slip-poor sliding force transmission elements are assigned to the chain drives on smooth or loose underground.
