The device has an extruder (1) including an extrusion tool (7) producing three melt strands, where the adjacent melt strands include different strand cross-sectional profiles. Each profile is a triangle and a height of the triangle corresponds to a thickness of a core layer of a plate product (4). Upper and lower heating devices e.g. infrared radiators, contactlessly melting a surface of a cover layer and upper and lower cooling rollers, is installed at an end of a double-band press (5) in a material flow direction. The press calibrates and cools molten mass (8) for a core material. The cover layer is made of mixed fleece including glass fibers and polypropylene fibers.
