The thrust engine has a carrier (6) placed in movement by a mass inertia of rotating masses (1), where a controllable main magnetic field (3) and left and right deflection magnetic fields i.e. side magnetic fields (4, 5), are provided on the carrier. The magnetic fields serve for braking a rotating or linear mass body i.e. iron body, with or without a coil on the carrier. The mass body is accelerated either mechanically or electromagnetically, where a deceleration of the accelerated carrier is achieved by pole reversal of the magnetic fields and a direction change of the mass body.
