Use of a composition (T) containing one or more silicon organic compounds (I); and optionally one or more surfactant active compounds having one or more perfluorinated units, for the production of fire-extinguishing foam, is claimed, where the percental mass ratio (Q) from the mass of the surfactant active compounds with at least a perfluorinated group and the sum of the mass of the surfactant active compounds and the mass of (I) is less than 5%.
