The machine (10) has an attachment device for axial attachment of an antifriction bearing (28) in a hub (69) of a bearing plate (13.1). A screwing element (60) with a single piece formed collar arrangement (63) i.e. collar, serves as an axial stop for the antifriction bearing, where the collar arrangement has a spring characteristic. The screwing element is made of sheet metal. The collar arrangement has an uneven profile, which is designed such that a torque is transferable by positive locking. The collar arrangement has recesses that serve as engaging places for an attachment tool. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting of an antifriction bearing in a hub of a bearing plate of a machine.
