The container or package i.e. plastic bag (1), has external folds (2-5) in extension direction, where the external folds include an internal fold for forming V-shaped inner folds (6, 7) at a side of the external folds. The internal fold lies between the external folds, where the external folds (2, 5) at the side is protruded to predetermined amount about the external folds (3, 4) in the extension direction transverse to the both the folds. Raw material utilized for the container or package is tubular plastic film, and both the folds are arranged in longitudinal extension of the film. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a foldable container or foldable package.
