The device (1) has a controlling unit (3) i.e. roller blind, arranged within a frame (2), where the frame has a running, rib-like projection projecting laterally over a side of the frame for forming a seal (16) at the side of the frame. The projection is flexibly deformable in a direction and is formed by a film hinge that interconnects two frame parts as a single piece. Two edges of the projection are arranged opposite to each other, and a third edge protrudes through an opposite side of the frame. A widened region of the projection is attached directly to a web region. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement of a control device in a housing.
