The method involves supplying a combustion slag stream. The remaining combustion slag stream is wet-treated such that the slag stream is transferred into a container. The wet-treatment step includes separating the slag streams, wet-classifying of the slag stream into two fractions of slag particles of different particle sizes and wet-classifying of the fractions of slag particles. Two fractions of sand of different particle sizes are separated from the smaller fraction. Four fractions of slag particles are separated from the larger fraction. An independent claim is also included for a front protective layer material having a secondary building material.
