The base body comprises a recess (14) for accommodating the connection unit. The connection unit comprises a head (15) that is arranged on a side of the base body, where the side is turned away from the free-wheel carrier. The free-wheel carrier comprises a free-wheel outer ring (16), where the free-wheel carrier and the free-wheel outer ring are partially designed as a single-piece. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a torque converter comprising a guide wheel base body and a free-wheel carrier.
