The drive (1) has a set of transformation stages, where one of the stages is formed by gear rims (6, 9). The other stage is formed by gear rims (7, 10). The third transformation stage is formed by gear rims (8, 11). The gear rims (6, 7, 8) are arranged on a shaft (3). The gear rims (9, 10, 11) are arranged on another shaft (4) i.e. pedal crankshaft. A transmission chain i.e. motor chain, is provided in each stage for transmission of torque. The shaft (3) is designed as an output shaft of an electric motor (5). Speed ratio of the drive is smaller than 1. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a two-wheeler with a chain drive (2) a method for transforming a motor torque in a two-wheeler.
