The transmission has drive shafts (1, 6) carrying drive wheels, and a toothed wheel (9) selectively coupled to an output shaft in a torque-locked manner to provide different transmission ratios between the drive shafts and the output shaft. The toothed wheel is synchronously coupled to the output shaft. A carrier ring (26), a pivot (27) and a recess (28) are provided for torque proof locking of the drive shafts to each other. The carrier ring is mounted on the drive shaft (1) and moved in an axial direction to each other for locking of the drive shafts.
