The mattress (1) has a hydraulic filling (2), and a liquid-airtight mattress covering (3) made from flexible materials. Liquid-airtight upper and lower chambers (5, 6) are separated from each other by the flexible materials. Closable filling openings (4, 7) are connected with the chambers. A flow dampening unit (8) i.e. spatial structure is provided in the upper chamber, where the flow dampening unit is height variable according to liquid accommodation. The upper and lower chambers are provided such that the chambers are filled with different liquid quantities.
