The structure has a reinforcing element (9) provided with a predominant tubular cross-section. The reinforcing element is fixed in a hole in a region of a tube section (8) of tubular components i.e. component of a supporting frame of a motor vehicle, transverse to a middle axis of the tube section such that a longitudinal axis of the reinforcing element is arranged in a potential bend plane of the components. The reinforcing element is firmly connected with an adjacent wall of the components by material engagement, and is formed in cup-shape and as a real tube.
