The seat (1) has a seat part (2) including a movable front part (6) and a fixed rear part (5) adjacent to a backrest (3), where upper sides (5.1, 6.1) of the respective rear and front parts form a seat surface. The front part is transferred to or over the rear part in an elevated child seat position. The upper side (6.1) of the front part faces downwards in the child seat position. A lower side (6.2) of the front part is provided with a side rim (7) and a cover. A cross tube is arranged in a foot space as a support for a foot of the child.
