The device has a pneumatically driven shaft spindle (12) rotatable and lockable into an end position. A tappet running transverse to the shaft spindle is provided in a lower end area of the shaft spindle, where the tappet lies in outer side of a path of the shaft spindle in an angle position and enters into the path of the shaft spindle in another angle position. The tappet is designed as a bolt (30) aligned transverse to the spindle, where the bolt runs into a lower sliding bearing (26). The bolt eccentrically cuts the bearing. The tappet mechanically locks the spindle in a raised position.
