The transmitter (1) is designed in such a manner that a period of validity (V1, V2) is assigned to sent signals in transmit mode, where the signal is valid for a given mobile receiver (3) within the period of validity of the respective signal as spatial coordinate information. The spatial coordinate information for the part of the signals includes a frequency polygon, which describes the limit of the period of validity, where a sequence of the corner coordinates of the frequency polygon are sent as the spatial coordinate information.
