The method involves receiving a transport stream from a digital radio receiver after channel change instruction is transmitted from the receiver. The transport stream is examined to find whether another transport stream is identical to transport stream received from the receiver for sending the instruction and collision is enclosed by information on an existence of a collision. Information is obtained from an analysis of a transport stream specific table of each transport stream and/or from an analysis of sufficient non-distinctive part or a characteristic feature of the table.
