The seal has sealing elements (1, 2) provided with a sealing rim. A centrifugal element (14) torque-proofly connected with a shaft (12) is protruded into a collecting area (35) that is provided for a leakage medium. The centrifugal element runs over the area of the shaft. The centrifugal element is provided as a part of a barrel casing (11) that is torque-proofly fastened to the shaft. The collecting area is formed between a base (25) of a housing (22) and the sealing elements. The sealing elements are supported by supporting bodies (15, 15').
