The module has multiple memory chips i.e. dynamic RAMs (DRAM), connected with a data bus (DA) and a command and address bus (CA). The command and address bus is guided sequentially through each individual memory chip and is connected with a termination device (VTT) at its end for termination the bus (CA), where the termination device is switchably implemented at the end of the bus. The command and address bus is attached to a memory buffer (MB), where the termination device is arranged within the memory buffer. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for accessing a memory module (2) a computer program product for performing a method for accessing a memory module.
