The bearing has an outer ring (1), an inner ring (2) and rolling bodies (3) arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring. The outer ring and the inner ring are secured against rotation. An axial or radial projection (7) i.e. protruding lug, is made as a single piece with the outer ring and the inner ring for inserting into a retainer (4) in a bearing seat. The projection is made by turning the inner ring and the outer ring and by removing the inner and outer ring materials laterally to the projection upto nominal width of the inner ring and the outer ring.
