The lining element and/or the cushion element serves for covering a backrest (6) of a vehicle seat (2) at a side. The element covers the vehicle seat in a direction of a vehicle external side and is arranged in an area between the backrest and a rear wheel housing (14) of the vehicle. The element is connected with the foldable backrest of the vehicle seat. The storage box is formed as a separate component in the base plate.
