The method involves fixedly installing and arranging a set of individual coordinated seal manufacturing machines (5-7) e.g. joint vulcanizing machines, for manufacturing seals e.g. O-ring seals, of different types and shapes in a commercial vehicle i.e. mobile workshop (1). Feed materials and workshop devices for manufacturing the seals are associated with the machines. The vehicle is driven to a required location. A desired seal is manufactured as a replacement seal at a location, by the machines. A to-be-replaced seal at the location is replaced with the desired seal. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising seal manufacturing machines.
