The combustion chamber for combusting sewage, comprises a combustion chamber container (101), a connection (103, 104, 105) for the connection of a sewage supply arrangement, a combustion energy supply device, an exhaust gas discharge device, and a container (102) that is arranged in the interior of the combustion chamber container. The container comprises two shells that are arranged one upon the other so that a fluid overflowing from an upper shell is received in a lower shell. The shell arranged above another shell comprises a shell edge with a lower area. The combustion chamber for combusting sewage, comprises a combustion chamber container (101), a connection (103, 104, 105) for the connection of a sewage supply arrangement, a combustion energy supply device, an exhaust gas discharge device, and a container (102) that is arranged in the interior of the combustion chamber container. The container comprises two shells that are arranged one upon the other so that a fluid overflowing from an upper shell is received in a lower shell. The shell arranged above another shell comprises a shell edge with a lower area on which the interval of the shell edge to the shell base is slighter than in other area of the shell edge. The lower area is arranged at the external edge of the shell. The shell edge geometry of the upper shell of the container is formed at the lower area towards the shell edge interior. The lower area of the upper shell is arranged horizontally transferred to the lower area of the shell present directly under the shell of the container. The shells of the container have same shape. The interval of the shells is smaller than the one-and-half times of the shell height. The shells of the container are distanced to each other so that the lower area of the shell base of the upper shell is arranged in the area between the upper cell edge and the lower area of the shell edge. The shells are secured at a bar-shaped holding element that is connected with combustion chamber container in form-locking manner. The shells of the container have a further support element that is mounted on the respective shell and puts on the other shell or on the base of the combustion chamber container. The connection is arranged above the container. The side wall of the combustion chamber container has openings that are arranged near the base of the combustion chamber container. The connection comprises a tube that extends itself in the upper area of the combustion chamber container until above the uppermost shell of the container. The combustion chamber comprises an external container in which the combustion chamber container is arranged so that an intermediate area is existed between the combustion chamber container and the external container. The external container has an opening whose interval along the intermediate area to an opening in a wall of the combustion chamber container corresponds to the width of the combustion chamber container. In the intermediate area, a screen (109) is arranged that surrounds the combustion chamber container in an interval. Between the external container and the combustion chamber container, a guide plate is arranged. Two guide plates horizontally arranged above one another are arranged in the intermediate area. The cross-section geometry of the two guide plates corresponds to the cross section geometry of the area enclosed between the combustion chamber container and/or screen and external container on the respective place of the corresponding guide plates. An opening (106) is intended in each of the guide plate and the openings of the two directly adjoining guide plates are arranged so that it exists itself not vertical above one another. The openings of two directly adjoining guide plates are arranged so that the openings have a maximum spatial interval. A coil shaped guide plate is arranged in the interval. The combustion chamber comprises a lockable access, over which the combustion chamber is externally accessible. Independent claims are included for: (1) a sewage combustion plant with combustion chamber; and (2) a method for operating a sewage combustion plant.
