The system (1) has a feeding device (18) for a reducing agent arranged downstream to a dust separating device (7) for reduction of nitrogen oxides contained in flue gases. An exhaust gas discharge opening of a combustion device (19) is flow connected with a mixing chamber or a heat exchanger. The exhaust gas discharge opening is directly flow connected with a flue gas inlet of a reduction catalyst (8). The feeding device is arranged between the mixing chamber, the heat exchanger or the combustion device with the reduction catalyst. An independent claim is also included for a method for cleaning flue gases of a klin.
