The handling aid has an assembly foot (1) i.e. ceiling bracket, for attachment to a ceiling (2) or wall. A guide arm (10) is movably supported relative to the assembly foot over a joint arrangement (4). A handle (14) is arranged at a free end (12) of the guide arm. The guide arm has two arm parts (15, 16), which are interconnected by a joint (20) with a rotation axis that is horizontal to the ceiling. The handle has two rollers that are movable away from each other by a pretensioning force, where the rollers form an entrance to a receiving space.
