The damper (1) has an oscillating weight (2) exhibiting a non-circular inner circumference, and a shaft (3) exhibiting a non-circular outer circumference. The shaft is inserted into the oscillating weight. The oscillating weight and the shaft exhibit a predetermined torsional play based on an intermediate space between the inner circumference of the oscillating weight and the outer circumference of the shaft. A flexible wire cushion (4) is arranged in the intermediate space. The wire cushion is sectionally surrounded by an elastomer.
