Method for quantitative detection of analytes e.g. antibody, in water medium, involves determining extreme value of measured variable, and calculating analyte concentration from state of extreme value by correlation with calibration curve
The method involves providing a liquid test medium containing analytes, and adding sample in concentration series, in which either relative concentration of the analytes or concentration of the sample is varied, where the sample consists of nanoportions marking detection molecules e.g. peptide and protein. A measured variable serving as a measure for agglutination is determined. Extreme value of the measured variable is determined, and analyte concentration is calculated from a state of the extreme value by correlation with a calibration curve.
