The microphone has microphone capsules in housing and an acoustical impedance sensor integrated into the microphone. The sensor determines individual acoustic field components in displacement (r) and direction to an acoustic source. Value and phase of acoustical impedance (Z) are indicated. The acoustical impedance is provided as a vector value of direction of sound waves incident on the microphone. The sensor stays in connection with a processor i.e. digital signal process, for signal processing and displacement determination. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing of measured acoustic signal for displacement measurement of an acoustic source using a microphone.
