The driveshaft has wheel carriers (3) pivotable around a vertical pivot axis (S). Each carrier has a wheel rotor (4) driven by a drive motor (6) i.e. electric motor, under interconnection of a bevel gear, where the drive motor is coaxial to the pivot axis. A drive motor shaft (6a) is in drive-connection with a spur gear (SR1) of an intermediate gearbox (7) i.e. helical gear box, and has a spur gear (SR2) laterally spaced to the drive motor and driving a bevel gear wheel (K) of the bevel gear. The wheel is in rolling engagement with a crown gear (T), which is arranged coaxial to the rotor.
