The system has an auxiliary electrical heater heating air in an inner chamber before and after starting of a motor vehicle in a coolant circuit of a vehicle-internal combustion engine and a fuel cell. The coolant circuit is heated by the auxiliary electrical heater by using an energy storage i.e. lithium-ion-battery, of electric drives of the vehicle. Quantity of the coolant in the coolant circuit and engine parameters are provided under consideration of parameters such as external temperature, charging condition of a hybrid-battery and an intermediate level in a degree of coolant heating.
