The valve has a compression spring (14) arranged between a spring stop (8) and an armature (4) to produce a connection between two pressurizing medium channels (18, 19) by releasing a valve seat (15) in an electromagnetically unexcited position of a valve closing element (13). The stop is fixed in a valve housing in a friction locked manner, and the channels are opened out into the housing. A magnetic coil (16) actuates the closing element into a switching position in which the valve seat is locked. The spring is sectionally accommodated in the stop that consists of an austenitic material.
