The appliance has an unchokable pump (1) for conveying a liquid medium that flows in the appliance. The unchokable pump conveys a condensate that comprises a fibrous material and is produced during operation of the appliance. An impeller (7) of the unchokable pump is sectionally arranged in spiral housings (2). The housings exhibit a housing part (3) with an inlet port (5) for the medium, and another housing part (4) connected with the housing part (3). The unchokable pump is arranged in a floor assembly of the appliance.
