The extinguisher has an extinguishing agent container (1) in the shape of a flat box with circular-segment-like contour shape. The container has an armature (6) with an extinguishing agent nozzle (7), and an actuating body (9) which is arranged within the circumference of the segment shape of the container and within the dimension of the container perpendicular to a plane of the segment shape at the circumference of the container. The container has a passage opening (2) arranged in a circle center of the circular segment shape.
