The shoulder cap (1) has a cap body (2), and supporting elements (3A-3C) to support the cap at a shoulder of a rifleman. Ends (4A-4C) of the supporting elements are attached to the shoulder. The supporting elements are movably arranged in holes of the cap body such that a distance between the ends of the supporting element and the cap body is changeable. The holes for retaining the supporting elements are arranged in one or multiple rows adjacent to each other and at a right angle to a surface of the cap body. The holes have a retaining element e.g. o-ring, for the supporting elements.
