The transformer has a primary winding and a secondary winding axially arranged next to each other on a ferrite core in axial direction, where the windings are separable from each other. The windings are implemented with a braided strip whose individual braided wires are isolatedly implemented. The braid strip is composed of bundles that are crosswise interlaced to a hose. The windings are designed in such a manner that an alternating current of more than 30 amperes is fed with a frequency between 10 and 200 kilohertz. A primary housing part (1) is connected with a feeder housing part (3). An independent claim is also included for a system for contactless transferring energy using a matching transformer.
