Component useful as plate shaped heat exchanger or a reactor with two separate fluid circuits, comprises sequentially stacked plates having a channel system formed from fluid stream guiding channel
The component comprises sequentially stacked plates (1) having a channel system formed from fluid stream guiding channel (2). The two plates of stack, of which consists of ceramic materials and other of ceramic materials or glass are joined together by an adhesive layer of polymer adhesive with a thickness of 25 mu m, in material fit manner. The polymer adhesive is one-component epoxide- or silicon adhesive. The silicon adhesive has a Shore hardness of 25-40 in hardened condition. The polymer adhesive is not formed as a uniform layer in the case of the unevenness of the joined plates. The component comprises sequentially stacked plates (1) having a channel system formed from fluid stream guiding channel (2). The two plates of stack, of which consists of ceramic materials and other of ceramic materials or glass are joined together by an adhesive layer of polymer adhesive with a thickness of 25 mu m, in material fit manner. The polymer adhesive is one-component epoxide- or silicon adhesive. The silicon adhesive has a Shore hardness of 25-40 in hardened condition. The polymer adhesive is not formed as a uniform layer in the case of the unevenness of the joined plates but adjusted to the unevenness of the plates. The polymer adhesive consists of inactive or active filling material. The active materials are powder or granulate of ceramic materials. The ceramic material consists of sintered silicon carbide, aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide and/or titanium diboride. The guiding channels in the plates are connected with a first supply opening (5) and a first discharge opening (6) for a first fluid. The plate is equipped with a second supply opening and a second discharge opening for a second fluid for providing an adjoining plate. The plates have a thickness of 3 mm. The side wall of the guiding channel has a height of 0.2-5 mm. The two plates are joined to seam-free monolithic block by diffusion welding process and the two monolithic blocks are joined by the adhesive layer. Independent claims are included for: (1) a reactor; and (2) a method for the production of component.
